Chi sonoAbout
Ylledrit Cesare Berisha.
Per tutti, Ykki.Ykki to everyone.
Ykki is the name my brother gave me when we were kids, back when he (understandably) couldn’t yet pronounce “Ylledrit”. My parents use it too. It’s not on my ID card, but it’s what I’ve always answered to. What do they call it? A stage name.
Base a Milano, in trasferta ovunque.I take two things for granted: a video or a photo has to tell a story, a journey, a development, otherwise there’s no reason for it to exist; and the result is decided before the shoot, by organising everything that can be organised. I work alone by choice, with a network of colleagues I coordinate when a project calls for it: you talk to me, from brief to delivery. Based in Milan, on location anywhere.
Chi ha lavorato con me lo sa.When the result is right, there’s only one thing I feel like saying: «abbiamo fatto er’ Cinema» (“we made Cinema”). Anyone who has worked with me knows.
